GOING FOR A SONG

GOING FOR A SONG AS FESTIVE FUN GETS UNDER WAY AT GLENAVON

Carol singing was on the festive agenda at Glenavon on Friday.

The Glenavon Residents’ Association staged the popular gathering and invited local people to come along.

Then after an hour of great singing, the carol singers came back to the Glenavon community flat for mince pies, a cup of warming hot chocolate, tea and coffee.

Knowing that every youngster simply can’t wait for Santa, each one who attended the carol singing was given a Cadbury selection box as an early Christmas present.

Glenavon Residents Association thanks everyone who came along and made the event such a success including officers from Police Scotland based at Maryhill.

The music was provided by the brilliant brass band known as Brass, Aye.
